I am currently with Rodney King Crazy Monkey Defense Program, which I am an instructor under him. I have been training with Rodney for the last 5 years through private trainings whenever he goes to Singapore every 6 months. In addition to that, I have been consistently become Rodney's training partners in Singapore seminars. Rodney instructs me in both his CM striking system as well as Brazilian Jiujitsu where he's a blackbelt under Rigan Machado.
Prior to Rodney, I spent the last 8 years training with Burton Richardson's JKD Unlimited in both Los Angeles and Hawaii. With Burton, I spent time training in Jeet Kune Do concepts that conver weaponry training as well as empty hands. Burton has been one of Dan Inosanto's (Bruce Lee's appointed protégé in JKD), trusted student where he became instructor under him. I have reached the level of Instructor under Burton Richardson. Before that my JKD training was with Tom Skotidas and Paul Vunak. My 2 years of Wing Chun was with Sifu Sonny Whitmore from William Cheung style.
In Brazilian Jiujitsu, besides Rodney, for the last few years, I had trained with Niko Han (Indonesia's only Brazilian Jiujitsu blackbelt) for about 3-4 years. During that time, I have also brought some overseas BJJ instructors such as Helio Soneca (Gracie Barra) and Pedro Schmalls (Gracie Humaita). My total grappling experience was 11 years. Before that I had spent some time training under John Will (Machado Jiujitsu) for about 2 years and before that I did spent some time training with Egan Inoue ( Grappling Unlimited) and Renato Verissimo (Nova Uniao). I started training BJJ in '97 with Claudio Franca and Cassio Werneck in California USA.
